Patraswedana: Patraswedana is a common form of Swedana in which the medicaments are tied up in a cloth and used for therapy. In this therapy, leaves of medicinal or herbal plants are tied up in the cloth, heated and applied to the body. Also called Ela Kizhi, the treatment is usually done after a light oil massage or Abhyanga; it relieves diseases related to bones, muscles, and nerves.
Pizhichil: This therapy comprises squeezing warm oil on the body. It is a type of whole-body massage known as Sarvangdhara in Ayurveda. Shirodhara involves continuous pouring of medicated oil or other herbal preparation directed on the person's forehead. It combines two Ayurveda massage techniques using oil and heat treatment.
Podikkizhi: It is a fomentation using cotton bags made of 12 herbs, and the mix is as per the customised therapy and massage. This moisturising agent reduces anxiety and stress and leaves your skin with a healthy glow. It is an excellent therapy for people suffering from Vata and Pitta Dosha, insomnia, and mental tension.

By Bus : There are regular busses to Rishikesh from all states surrounding Uttarakhand. volvo bus services are also available to Rishikesh by delhi and lucknow. You can book both government and private busses to reach rishikesh.
By Own Vehicle : Rishikesh is well connected by the roads and highways, so there will be no problem to reach rishikesh by own car or taxi.
